I agree to the General terms and conditions automatic reloading. By doing so, I authorize Trans Link Systems B.V. (TLS) to send recurrent collection instructions to my bank to debit an amount from my account. I also give permission to my bank to debit recurrent amounts from my account in accordance with TLS's instructions. This will occur no later than 15 days after TLS receives the transaction to add to my balance through automatic reloading.

With automatic reloading, your OV-chipkaart will always have enough balance to travel. If your credit is too low to cover the boarding fare or trip cost, a set amount will automatically be added to your card. This amount will be debited from your bank account within 15 days.

When you apply for automatic reloading, you give a recurring payment authorization. You'll pay for your OV-chipkaart using iDEAL, and in doing so, you also authorize us to activate automatic reloading.

We have received your payment. You will receive your personal OV-chipkaart within 1 week.

I accept the General terms and conditions OV-chipkaart and the general transport terms and conditions applicable to the transport. The NS general transport terms and conditions apply to transport with NS and the General terms and conditions urban and regional public transport for other operators. I declare that I have completed this form truthfully.

Do you have an NS season ticket or a student travel product?

Then keep using your OV-chipkaart for now.

A personal OV-chipkaart costs € 7,50. You will receive your new card within 1 week. Please note: there is no mail delivery on Mondays.

Is your card expired, lost or broken? Then replace your card through your account. This way your subscriptions and travel products will be transferred to your replacement card.

Digital photo in jpg, max. 5 MB; Please be responsible when selecting your picture: an inappropriate picture or one that is not recognizable as you might be confiscated.

If you cannot pay with iDEAL, you can pay with PayPal.

Crop Your Photo

When cropping your photo, make sure your selection meets the following guidelines:

Only the face of the person using the card should be visible

The image must be a clear and accurate likeness of that person

The entire face should be shown — including chin, mouth, nose, ears, and eyebrows — even if you're wearing something on your head

The face should fill the frame as much as possible

Need help? Check the card example to make sure your selection is correct. Don’t forget to rotate the photo if needed!

Photo Guidelines for Your Personal OV-chipkaart
The photo you provide will appear on your personal OV-chipkaart, so the person using the card must be clearly recognizable.

You can upload a holiday photo, a scanned photo, or take one using a webcam—as long as it meets the following requirements. You're responsible for submitting a photo that is a true and accurate likeness.

Clearly show the person who will use the card

Be in focus, with proper lighting (not too bright or too dark), and the face clearly visible

Make sure your photo meets these standards to avoid delays in processing your card.
