06 november 2008 GVB: OV-chipkaart in tram en bus
Read onOp 3 november introduceert GVB de OV-chipkaart in tram en bus aan haar reizigers. Reizen met de OV-chipkaart in de Amsterdamse metro is al sinds 2006 mogelijk. Reizigers kunnen met één kaart reizen in tram, bus en metro van GVB. Door deze volgende stap in de introductie van de OV-chipkaart verwacht GVB dat geleidelijk meer reizigers zullen overstappen op de OV-chipkaart.

Read onAs you may have noticed, public transport companies are busy introducing the OV-chipkaart. Amsterdam is the next area where the OV-chipkaart will be widely accepted. Already you can use the OV-chipkaart in the Amsterdam metro; soon you will be able to use it in the Amsterdam busses and trams as well.
